CRASH helps Local Solutions keep a roof over the heads of Merseyside’s homeless.
Local Solutions’ Homeground hostel has recently been awarded a donation from London based Homeless charity, CRASH, to make essential repairs to the roof of the building. Currently, the roof is in a state of disrepair and has been a problem for staff and residents for a number of months as continuous flooding frequently puts a number of rooms out of use.
The donation from CRASH will enable the hostel to be used to its full capacity and increase the number of people currently housed at Homeground to 29. CRASH is a Construction & Property Industry Charity offering a range of services from simple advice and support, donations of building supplies, to setting up new projects.
Local Solutions is very grateful for the advice and assistance that CRASH have given Homeground and would like to thank Tom Dillon (Project Co-ordinator) and Tom Biddlecombe (Director of CRASH) in particular for their support.
