Launch of Cyber Cafe at Shopmobility

The Shopmobiliy service, managed by Local Solutions, launched a cyber café within its premises at the St John’s Shopping Centre on Friday 4th May 2007.

A range of disability aids make the computers fully accessible for people with a disability, and staff can provide assistance for those new to computers.

Anne Molyneux, Shopmobility Manager explains: “We are thrilled to be able to enhance the service we currently offer to people with disabilities through this initiative. Visitors to Shopmobility have shown a keen interest in this development and initial feedback has been very positive. We hope that our clients will enjoy the opportunity to pop in and use the internet or send an email and generally develop their computer skills .”
