LWC secures funding for a Wheelyboat

 

 Liverpool Watersports Centre have secured the funding needed to get a Wheelyboat - A wheelchair accessible boat. 

 Liverpool Watersports Centre have been fundraising for the Wheelyboat for over a year, so that the activities at the centre are accessible to people with disabilities.

The Wheelyboat was fundraised for in partnership with the Wheelyboat Trust and received support from a variety of sources including: 

  • Sports England
  • Support from Charitable Trusts and Foundations including the Lord Leverhulme Charitable Trust, Boshier Hinton Foundation, Brian Wilson Charitable Trust, Charles Brotherton Trust
  • Customers at the Liverpool Watersports Centre raising money and attending fundraising events
  • Wheelyboat Just Giving Campaign
  • Payroll giving from Local Solutions Staff

A huge thank you to everyone mentioned above and everyone else who was involved in making the Wheelyboat dream a reality.
